Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

Not Here!

But if you’re looking for vamps, first love, zombies, peer pressure, family joys and sorrows or utopias gone sour, Hiawatha Public Library Teen Services is for you.

Browse our shelves and plan your escape into the world of young adult fiction. The Library also offers a healthy dose of magazines, graphic novels, compact disc audio books, downloadable audio books and eBooks for teen readers and listeners.

Hiawatha Public Library knows that teens are vital, active members of their schools and communities. Therefore, we enjoy offering busy teen readers incentives to stop by and check out library materials.

Annually, the Library hosts three reading programs for sixth through twelfth graders with the summer event being the biggest book bonanza. Teens can win a variety of grand prizes which include gift cards from area businesses. Check the online calendar to find out when the next reading program begins.
